Bio
Michael Biehler is a fourth year PhD candidate at the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and an incoming Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin Madison (Start Date: January 2025). His research focuses on enabling transformative capabilities 3D and 4D printing systems. He is passionate about educating a diverse and inclusive generation of data-literate engineers to tackle tomorrow’s challenges. Previously, he received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering with a major in Production Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Outside of the lab, Mike loves to spend time with his family in nature.
